Solar panels Lake Darling Lodge

​There are 69 solar panels on the lodge. Most facing South and some facing East.

Sunlight energy moves electricity through each cell and on thru the solar panels and finally the system is connected to the electrical grid.

Thanks to a grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation and Contributions from our members there are 69 solar panels suppling energy for the lodge.

Lodge solar panels are combined with the geothermal to heat & cool the lodge.

On a sunny day the solar system can produce    140 Kwh into the grid worth about $22.

A sunny day starts sending energy about 7:30 and continues until about 4:30.  You can see clouds pass by with the dip about 2:30.
